Types of Membership
Resident Membership is open to all Residents in the field of Plastic Surgery. Upon completion of plastic surgery training, Resident Members may apply for Active Membership.
Active Membership is open to qualified Plastic Surgeons under the age of 50 who have completed an approved residency in Plastic Surgery prior to application for membership.
Associate Membership is open to individuals without qualification for Active Membership but whose contributions make their inclusion in the Council desirable.
Senior Membership are Active and Associate Members that will progress to Senior and Senior Associate Membership at the end of the Business Meeting during the year in which they are 50 on January 1. They will remain in this category of membership until 65 years of age or are retired from practice. They will be required to pay dues.
Senior Emeritus Membership is Senior and Senior associates will progress to Senior Emeritus status when they become 65 years of age or are retired from practice This will conversion will take effect at the end of the Business Meeting during the year they are 65 years of age or are retired from practice. They shall have no dues.
Membership Application Process and Requirements
Applications for Resident, Active and Associate Membership will be considered when each of the items listed below is received by the Executive Office. Only Resident, Active and Associate Members have voting privileges.
Membership Requirements
1. The completed application form.
2. A copy of your curriculum vitae.
Attendance at a European Plastic Surgery Research Council Annual Meeting is also required. (This may include the meeting in the year in which your application is submitted for vote.)
